The Tartarus is a 48 Tier Point dungeon — trapped in Tartarus, the Cinder Sovereign defends its domain, ruled by Malthar, the Cinder Sovereign.

This dungeon is dropped by Astaroth in the Crimson Forest.

Dungeon Clear

  • Prior to finishing both pentagram puzzles on opposite ends, all mobs in the dungeon can respawn, meaning the player should try to quickly reach the puzzles in order to not kill the mobs repeatedly, over and over.
  • The sigil infront of the entrance of the dungeon indicates which sides are complete; yellow (black from a distance) when incomplete, red when completed.

Dungeon Puzzle

(Left/Right Side Pentagram Puzzle) | This dungeon contains two puzzles on opposite sides, both with the same objective; to form a pentagram out of the five points. This can be done by rotating each of the points (spherical flame particles) clockwise (right clicking) or anti-clockwise (shift-right clicking). The room contains a 30 second timer, afterwhich the player will be teleported outside.

Boss Behaviour

(Arena Hazard) | Throughout the fight, Cinder Slaves emerge from the ground to distract the player from Malthar.

(Attack 1) | Malthar levitates into the air and locks onto the player, then begins flying towards them, releasing twelve enflamed projectiles in all directions eight times as he reaches the ground.

(Attack 2) | Malthar twirls around, dealing contact damage with their tail as they shoot out multiple enflamed projectiles into the air. Upon contact with the floor, these projectiles explode into eight projectiles which are shot out in all directions.

(Attack 3) | Malthar dashes backwards before beginning to breathe out fire, damaging the player on contact, as well as covering the arena in fire puddles which damage the player if stood on and inflicting fire damage.

(Attack 4) | Malthar stomps the ground, summoning fifteen indicator circles in all directions which expand outward in eight waves. They detonate after a second, damaging the player if within their radius.

100% to 75% (Phase 1) | Malthar levitates then hovers into the air and begins raining down meteors onto the arena. The player must find the green indicators which randomly appear in the arena and remain within them until they procc, after which Malthar will lose 8.33% of their HP. The player must repeat this 3 times.

75% to 0% (Phase 2) | Malthar cycles through their main attacks listed above in order to damage the player.
