Ut's are items which do not follow the progression of tiered armours and feature different stats, passives and active abilities compared to their tiered counterparts. ==Obtaining Royal Ut's==
Royal Fragments can drop from a variety of dungeons & bosses, and they are what allow Royal UTs to be exalted into their better forms.
Royal Ut's can be obtained from World Bosses and World Boss Dungeons. Usually Royal Ut's are dropped form world bosses and world boss dungeons at a 2.5% chance each, however some royals such as the [[Armours|Umbrador Cap]] are dropped in the "clear" of a dungeon.

To qualify to drop a royal the player must reach the damage threshold of 1%.

Exalting Royal UT items allows for them to gain bonus stats, increased damage, and improved abilities. This also increases their [[Game Mechanics#Tier Points | Tier Points]] from 11 to 12. The same item cannot be exalted more than once, and exalting is irreversible.

Salvaging=

Salvaging Royal UT items is also another method of getting Royal Forge Fragments. This is an irreversible action and will result in your item turning into a fragment. Items which are already exalted cannot be salved.


To exalt a royal UT you must obtain 5 royal fragments which are obtained from world boss dungeons at a chance of 20%.

Exalting royal UTs positively changes any of the items stats AND OR abilities.

Once exalting an item you cannot reverse the craft or salvage the royal.

To salvage a royal place the UT in the item slot without any fragments and you can turn it into a royal fragment.

When untiered, Royal items have 11 Tier Points. If exalted, they have 12 Tier Points. In order to drop a Royal UT from the bosses which drop it, the player must reach the minimum 1% damage threshold.
