  Permadeath

Permadeath

Within Telos Realms, all gameplay rulesets have permadeath. This means that after a certain point, your deaths will result in a character wipe. Below is a table showing what is lost upon dying:

Permadeath losses
Type Lost/Saved
Level Level Down to 1/20
Fame Transformed to Glory
Inventory
Backpack
Armour
Runes
Stash
Companions
Glory
Transcendence

Permadeath is only activated after level 20. This means that if the player dies before level 20, they lose nothing. After transcendence 5, the player will reset to level 20 instead of level 1, meaning they now permanently have permadeath active on that character.

  Exalting

Exalting

Untiered items can be exalted by using forge fragments of the corresponding tier, turning them into Exalted Items which can have increased stats, bonus damage, lower cooldown, or change in abilities. Whenever an item is exalted, the texture of the item changes and the "UT" tag is changed to an "EX" tag. To see all the different tiers of loot present in Telos, go towards the Loot page which lists all the different types.

In order to exalt an item, you must head to the Blacksmith in the Nexus. Upon talking to Wulfur, he will present all the different types of forges he has.

You can now click on any of the forges that you need, and this is item rarity specific. If you have an irradiated item that you want to exalt, you must go to the Irradiated Forge.

If you ever have any untiered items which you do not need, you can also transform them into fragments to exalt other items. This can be done by clicking on the forge assigned to that item, then placing the item in the GUI, and clicking on the fragment.

  Quests

Quests

Quests are a core aspect of Telos, and they are split into two: the main, tutorial quest line, as well as repeatable quests. The NPC that manages quests is Ragnar found in the Quest House of the Nexus.

The tutorial questline is the primary way of learning how Telos works. It teaches the ins and out of the game while making sure that a majority of all aspects of the game are covered. This is also required to be completed in order to access the repeatable quests.

Repeatable quests are split into two: dailies and weeklies. Dailies are a separate minigame outside of the world of Telos which give the player certain rewards such as Season Pass EXP and daily Lootboost, and they change daily. There are 7 types of dailies, and they can be found in the Daily_Trials page. Weeklies are reset every Monday and are only 4 quests listed below:

Weekly Quests
Quest Requirement Rewards
Lowland Scavenge Defeat 3 Lowlands Biome Dungeons 1,000 Fame
Random Irradiated UT

Rare Mystery Key OR Uncommon Mystery Key
Gilded Hunt Defeat 10 Centre Biome Dungeons or Minibosses 3,000 Fame

Random Royal UT
Epic Crate Key OR Rare Crate Key
Mystery Fragment OR Extractor
Blasphemer Defeat 5 Angelic Deities 10,000 Fame
2 Bloodshot Forge Fragments
Epic Soul Point Potion or Rare Soul Point Potion

Lowland Scavenge requires the player to complete dungeons located in the Lowlands region (Beach, Jungle, Swamp, or Desert). Gilded Hunt requires the player to complete Centre region (Crimson Forest, Permafrost, or Necropolis) dungeons. Realm Conquerer requires the player to defeat Realm Bosses or the dungeons that the Realm Bosses drop. Blasphemer requires the player to kill Seraphim or Ophanim, located at the end of Celestial's Province or Rustborn Kingdom respectively. Their true versions also count towards this quest.

On Monday, there is a 33% chance for quest points to double, meaning there's a small chance that if you only kill 1 boss, you get 2 points for it.

  Guilds

Guilds

Guilds allow players to form a smaller community within the game, and they provide players with stats. For each tier of a guild, players will receive a +0.5 stat boost in each stat except Loot Boost, Fame Boost, and Critical Damage. This means that at maximum guild tier (Tier 5), all players apart of that guild will receive +2.5 for every stat. In addition, guilds also have a Guild Stash, which is the same as a stash page but accessible by everyone in the guild. A guild starts off with 1, and gets another every time it is upgraded to the next tier. This means that at Tier 5, the guild will have 5 stash pages.

Guild Upgrade Costs
Guild Tier Glory Cost Total
T1 (Creation) 10,000 10,000
T2 50,000 60,000
T3 250,000 310,000

Purchasing the Supporter rank unlocks many perks and is a great way to show your support for Telos. Supporters gain access to QOL benefits that makes their life easier & gameplay faster; however, they do not receive anything that gives them an overall advantage in gameplay (glory, fame, higher luck boost, etc).   Inventory

Inventory

Telos Realms has 2 external storages for players to use when storing items.

The Stash is located in the Nexus and allows players to store items accross characters. The total storage depends on how many stash pages a player has unlocked. Only Normal and Seasonal characters can access the stash, and slots are separated by mode. Clicking the icon at the bottom of an empty stash page switches that page between Normal and Seasonal. Once items are placed on a page, only characters of the corresponding mode can access them. When a page is empty again, it can be switched to the other mode. All seasonal stashes (as well as characters) are converted to normal at the end of a season.

Backpacks are the secondary form of storage. They can be accessed via the /backpack command. Players have 36 slots in a backpack, and are limited to one per character. Every ruleset is able to use a backpack. Supporters unlock the two last rows of a backpack (up to 54 total slots).

  Loot Filter

Loot Filter

The loot filter is accessible through the /loot command.

Players can exclude certain classes' drops from being able to be picked up, and include classes that they want to receive drops for.

No matter the loot filter's configuration, players will always be able to pick up untiered items.

  Tier Points

Tier Points

Tier Points is a system in Telos Realms which stops undergreared players from entering high tier dungeons. All items in Telos Realms have a tier point attribute. Tiered items' tier points are equal to which tier they are (tier 1 items are 1 tier point and tier 11 items are 11). For untiered items their tier points are set on which type of UT they are and whether their in the UT form or EX form. For tier points to count the items must be in their correct slots and be for the correct class. For example a necromancer cannot hold a bloodshot katana for its tier points or a knight cannot hold an emblem in their main hand for its tier points. You can view your current tier points on the scoreboard.

Tiered = 1-11 (depending on the tier)
Irradiated = UT 8, EX 9
Gilded = UT 10, EX 11
Royal = UT 11, EX 12
Bloodshot = UT 13, EX 14
Voidbound = 14
Unholy = 15

  Stickers and Emojis

Stickers and Emojis

Supporters have the ability to use emojis in chat. The format for this is :emoji_name:

Additionally, stickers can be bought in the store. Stickers for purchase are rotated on a monthly basis, and are exclusive for that month.

Stickers can be used by crouching and right clicking the Adventurer’s Obelisk, activating the sticker and displaying it above your head.

The Season pass has a total of 1,000,000 XP to be earned, with 50 reward tiers. 10 of these tiers are locked behind the Premium Season Pass.

Rewards in the Season Pass can be many things like keys, permanent slots, soul point potions, and companion skins.
